How to love

Love is expressed as an action and experienced as a feeling. Yet, love has an essence that resists defining in any single way––it encompasses compassion, tolerance, endurance, support, faith, determination and more. Love reaches beyond romance and embraces us in all walks of life as we encounter one another and make choices about respecting and caring for each other.
The question of how you should love is really only a question that you can answer, from deep within your own heart and from your own thoughts on the matter. However, this article will give you some food for thought, by recommending some ideas on love for pondering anew.
Acknowledge the breadth of love. Love isn't simply about romance––to define it so narrowly is to deprive yourself of the beauty and full extent of love. Love is a feeling, drive or emotion that we experience in association with people, pursuits and nature, and love can be found in many places, situations and relationships.
  • ·  Love is shared between people––our parents and children, siblings, spouses and partners, dates, friends, neighbors, community members and humanity.
  • It's found in the passion for the things you do in your life, including work, hobbies, volunteering and the like; it can be found when you're at your most creative, or "in the flow".
  • Love happens when you embrace the wonderful awesomeness of life, as you acknowledge how incredible this world really is, how intricate and complex life is.
  • Love is found in observing nature, in spending time with our companion animals and in learning about other living beings in the world, beings who often show their own expression of love to those they care for.
  • Love is at its most giving when it is altruistic, shown to a stranger we may never meet again.
  • Love cannot be pigeonholed––it happens whenever your heart is open to receiving the beauty, wonder and awe of people, beings and happenings around you.
·  2
Learn to recognize what is love and what is something else. Some people confuse love with feelings of lust (e.g., purely sexual interest), ownership or control (e.g., co-dependency or manipulative motivators), worry (e.g., over-involved parenting or a spouse always checking up), neediness (e.g., insecurity or low self-esteem) and so forth. Yet, love is only possible when you don't need others to define who you are or need others to conform to your view of the world. Love isn't a tool for using people or binding them to your side; if you find yourself calling such actions "love", then it isn't love.
·  3
Begin by loving yourself. You can only truly love another being when you love yourself properly. Otherwise, you risk spending a lot of your life projecting inner hurts, pain and other negative emotions onto other people, seeing the worst in them so as to avoid facing it inside yourself. Loving yourself is not about putting yourself before others––that's another form of confusion. Loving yourself is about having self-respect, discovering what really makes you tick and spending your life being true to your real talents. It's about not putting yourself down and not comparing yourself to others. Once you learn to love yourself, you will be free of any sense of feeling threatened by others' success (real or apparent) and you will be able to share freely of your love with them.

to be continue.................

Predator, Kevin Peter Hall African American actor.

Date of Birth
9 May 1955, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
Date of Death
10 April 1991, Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA (AIDS)
Height
7' 2½" (2.20 m)
Mini Biography
This African American actor attended Penn Hills High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He started his junior year at 6' 5" and finished it at 6' 9"! He played basketball throughout his high-school years and won a scholarship. He averaged 18 points a game and 10 rebounds! He played basketball during college, but not when it would interfere with his major at George Washington University in Washington, DC, which was Theatrical Arts. During his college years, he met Jay Fenichel with whom he would later make musical productions. Upon graduation, Fenichel moved to Los Angeles and Hall moved to Venezuela to play basketball.

After a year, Hall lost interest and relocated to Los Angeles, California. Along with Fenichel, the duo put together two night-club acts/musicals. One was a semi-autobiographical two-man musical, "In Five," and the other was a two-man show called "The Worst of Friends," both of which played in night clubs throughout the LA area. They also had a promotional business where they did promotional acts in department stores for new products.

While working on the set of the series "227" (1985), he met his co-star, Alaina Reed-Hall, who played Rose Lee Holloway. They married--both on the set, and in real life--and they had two children. Predator 2 (1990) was released December 1990, and in April 1991, he died of AIDS, which he contracted through a blood transfusion a few months before.

IMDb Mini Biography By: Sujit R. Varma
Kevin Peter Hall PictureSpouse
Alaina Reed-Hall (29 December 1988 - 10 April 1991) (his death) 2 children

Trivia
He is the tallest of six brothers, all over 6' 5".
His father Charles Hall was 6' 6" and his mother Sylvia Hall was 6' 2".
This giant's face was rarely seen in his films, as he usually played monsters and semi-human creatures that required him to wear mounds of make-up, so few people know that he was a handsome and muscular man.
The character of the Predator in Predator (1987) went through many development stages, including one version that was set up for Jean-Claude Van Damme to play a martial-arts fighting Predator, and finally decided on the crab-like humanoid monster seen in the film. The producers realized much of their human cast were bodybuilders over 6 feet tall (and Van Damme was clearly smaller) and thus they cast the enormous Hall so that the Predator could realistically physically dominate the film's human characters.
Can be seen in Predator (1987) without costume. He is the helicopter pilot at the end of the film.
He was in a major car accident in Los Angeles. During surgery for his critical wounds, he received a contaminated blood transfusion. He died shortly thereafter of AIDS. He went public with his illness with the full support of his wife.
Referred to his non-speaking monster parts as grunt roles.
Auditioned for the lead role of the alien in Enemy Mine (1985) but didn't get the part.

Kevin Peter HallPersonal Quotes
"The problem is there aren't many calls for 7'4" black actors. Still, if I had let myself get discouraged I wouldn't be here now. I believe in myself and my acting." (from a 1985 "Starlog" interview)
When I first came to California it was fun and exciting to get any part in any movie and get paid for it. Because of my size and my background it seemed like I was right for just about anything. I did go through a period where I thought it was time to give up monster movies. But then the scripts and the effects started getting better. I was treated better and starting getting paid more. Doing creatures these days is more of a job for me than it was in the beginning. In the early days I was creating these creatures and basically getting lost in them. Now with creatures like Harry and the Predator it's more a matter of getting deeper into their characters and making sure they work. (from a 1991 interview)
It's ironic. People know me because I play the monsters, but I'm most recognized from the small roles in which they see my face. None of that stuff really bothers me. Whether I'm recognized in or out of a costume isn't a kind of pressure I put myself through anymore. (from a 1991 interview)
I'll always do costume roles. I'm bigger than life and so, in a way, I'm part of the fantasy/science fiction/horror genre.. But I'm more than just a guy in a suit. When people want big and a performance along with that big, I'm the one they call. (from a 1991 interview)
With Harry, I am always in control of the expressions and the performance. With the Predator it is half performance and half dealing with the physical traps. There's a balance you got to keep inside the suit. You've got to keep your character going while dealing with the fact that you've got all these wires and FX things coming out of you. It all boils down to concentration and being well-rehearsed.
I'm not just somebody shuffling around in a monster suit. I'm a kind of puppeteer from the inside who is attempting through arm and body movements to give the creatures I play a sense of personality.

Barack Obama wins election for second term as president

President Obama hugs daughters at victory rally in Chicago

President Barack Obama handily defeated Gov. Mitt Romney and won himself a second term on Tuesday after a bitter and historically expensive race that was primarily fought in just a handful of battleground states. Obama beat Romney after nabbing almost every one of the 12 crucial battleground states.
The Romney campaign's last-ditch attempt to put blue-leaning Midwestern swing states in play failed as Obama's Midwestern firewall sent the president back to the White House for four more years. Obama picked up the swing states of New Hampshire, Michigan, New Mexico, Iowa, Virginia, Wisconsin, Colorado, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Minnesota and Ohio. Of the swing states, Romney picked up only North Carolina. Florida is still too close to call, but even if Romney wins the state, Obama still beat him in the Electoral College vote. The popular vote will most likely be narrower than the president's decisive Electoral College victory.
In a sweeping victory speech early Wednesday morning, Obama thanked every American who voted, and vowed to work with leaders from both parties to tackle the country's challenges.
"Our economy is recovering, a decade of war is ending, a long campaign is now over," he told a crowd of cheering supporters in Chicago. "And whether I earned your vote or not, I have listened to you, I have learned from you and you have made me a better president." Obama added he has "never been more hopeful about America. ... We're not as divided as our politics suggest. We remain more than a collection of blue states and red states."
In his speech, he offered clues to the policy goals of his second term, which included a deficit reduction plan that combines tax increases with spending cuts, a comprehensive overhaul of the nation's federal immigration laws and tax reform. He called on Republicans to join him in achieving those goals.
The battle for the White House between Obama and Romney divided the nation, causing, at times, bitter disputes between the parties. Obama urged his supporters to look beyond the fight of the past several months and defended the process of choosing a president.
"I know that political campaigns can sometimes seem small, even  silly," Obama said. "And that provides plenty of fodder for the cynics who tell us  that politics is nothing more than a contest of evils or the domain of  special interests. If you ever get the chance to talk to folks who  turned out to our rallies and along the rope lines of high school gyms,  or saw folks working late at campaign office or some tiny county a long way from home, you'll discover something else."
Romney conceded in Boston in a speech around 1 a.m. ET. "Like so many of you, Paul [Ryan] and I have left everything on the field. We have given our all to this campaign," Romney said. "I so wish that I had been able to fulfill your hopes to lead your country in another direction. But the nation chose another leader." Romney congratulated the president and his campaign on their victory.
The Obama victory marks an end to a years-long campaign that saw historic advertisement spending levels, countless rallies and speeches, and three much-watched debates.

Malawi suspends laws against homosexual relationships

Malawi's President Joyce Banda
President Joyce Banda has said she wants to overturn Malawi's ban on homosexuality

Malawi has suspended laws against same-sex relationships pending a decision on whether to repeal the legislation, the justice minister has said.
Police have been ordered not to arrest or prosecute homosexuals until parliament has debated the issue, said Ralph Kasambara.
At present, homosexual acts carry a maximum sentence of 14 years in jail.
Some Western leaders have suggested they would cut aid to African countries failing to recognise gay rights.
Homosexuality is illegal in most African nations and remains a controversial topic in Malawi's traditionally conservative society.
One of Malawi's most influential traditional leaders, Chief Kaomba, has urged the government not to let parliament change its laws on homosexuality.
"This is against our culture," he said.
The BBC's Raphael Tenthani in Malawi's main city, Blantyre, says repealing the legislation would be an unpopular move with many church leaders, as well as the wider population.

Barack Obama: it's a choice between 'reckless and wrong or steady and strong'

Barack Obama claimed the US election had come down to a choice between "reckless and wrong or steady and strong" on Tuesday, as he embarked on a blitz of battleground states after beating Mitt Romney in the final presidential debate.

KUKOJOLEA MSAHAFU = KUANDAMANA, KUHARIBU MAKANISA, KUHARIBU MAGARI?

HISTORY OF ACTRESS ZOE SALDANA

Zoe Saldana was born in New Jersey and raised in Queens, New York. When she was 10 years old, she and her family moved to the Dominican Republic where they would live for the next 7 years. While living in the Dominican Republic, Zoe discovered a keen interest in performance dance and began her training at the prestigious ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy where she learned ballet as well as other dance forms. Not only did her training provide an excellent outlet for the enthusiastic and energetic youngster, it would also prove to be a fortunate precursor for the start of her professional acting career. At age 17, Zoe and her family moved back to the United States where her love for dance followed and an interest in theater performance became stronger. She began performing with the Faces theater troupe which put on plays geared to provide positive messages for teens with themes dealing with issues such as substance abuse and sex. These performances not only gave her valuable experience but also a source of great pride knowing that she was making a difference in the lives of young people like herself. While performing with the Faces troupe and also the New York Youth Theater, Zoe was recruited for a talent agency and her dance training years before coupled with her acting experience greatly helped her land her first big screen role as "Eva Rodriguez", the talented and headstrong ballet dancer in the film Center Stage (2000).
Since her professional career began just a few years ago, Zoe's talent and determination has allowed her to be involved in blockbuster films and act with major actors, actresses and industry insiders at a pace that very few young professionals have experienced. Zoe has not only held her own in major motion picture productions but gained the respect and praise from industry insiders such as Jerry Bruckheimer and Steven Spielberg and actors/actresses such as Tom Hanks, Bernie Mac, Keira Knightley, Ashton Kutcher, Kirsten Dunst and Orlando Bloom. According to many of her costars, producers, and directors, the sky is no limit for this young star who has incredible range, intense concentration, and a steely determination to be involved with projects that challenge her professionally with wide-ranging subject matters and characters. Just to ask practically anyone who she has worked for or with about her, glowing comments abound and earned friendships and respect are readily revealed. A star has been born, and growing every day.

Her father is of Dominican descent; her mother is Puerto Rican.
Ranked #42 on the Maxim magazine Hot 100 Women of 2008 list.
In The Terminal (2004), Saldana's character, Torres, is revealed to be a Trekkie. Saldana went on to be cast as "Uhura" in Star Trek (2009).
Had not seen the original series, before she was cast in Star Trek (2009).
To prepare for her role in Star Trek (2009) she met with Nichelle Nichols who played the same character in the original series.
Admires Whoopi Goldberg and Angelina Jolie.
Was chosen as one of People Magazine's annual 100 Most Beautiful People in the World, Beauty at Every Age section, for age 28, in May 2007.
She had a smaller role in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), and was set to star in the sequels, but never did. In the final scene of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) the people were told an old friend would return, and while filming the scene, the actors were told it was Zoe who would return. However it was Geoffrey Rush, and only told the actors it was Zoe to surprise them, and get real authenticity in their faces. Zoe never reprised her character.
Did an intense nonstop six-month preparation for Avatar (2009) including martial arts, archery and horseback riding.
Likes to play strong female characters. And said in an interview with a Danish film-site that she was really looking forward to evolving her character of Uhura into a stronger, kick-ass lady in future Star Trek (2009) sequels.
Says she's a sci-fi geek who just happens to dress nice.
Revealed on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" (2003) that she is often mistaken for Thandie Newton. Even her own mother once mistook the two of them.
Has been in a relationship with actor Keith Britton since 2005.

10 Ways to Say I Love You Without Saying I Love You

Some people are not able to say the three little words, "I love you." Although I think it's something that we should all strive for, for those who simply haven't gotten there yet, here are ten ways you can show it without uttering the phrase.
1.    Nothing says "I love you" more than laughing at your partner's bad jokes, especially if you've heard them a hundred times before. Making your loved one laugh is also a wonderful way of displaying your feelings.
2.    Find that special little something that your partner lost or said he or she wanted but could never find. Also, giving your partner a nicely framed photograph of the two of you is a very touching gesture.
3.    Do the manly-man or girly-girl thing. Many men say ILY by washing their mate's car and filling it with gas. Taking your man to a game, concert, car show or movie that he really likes is a great way to show that you want to be there for him.

4.    Help your partner heal a childhood hurt or loss. Perhaps the most powerful thing you can do is to just listen to his or her story about what happened and follow it up with a big hug.

5.    Show up at a business event as the loving spouse. This is all about giving.  Staying in a supportive role and praising your mate's efforts to everyone you talk to will make your partner feel uplifted and loved.
6.    When you're watching TV, snuggle up close with the one you love. Sitting across the room from each other in separate chairs may feel comfortable to your body, but it isn't fulfilling to your heart.
7.    Bedtime cuddling helps sustain a long-term loving connection. If you both need your own space for sleeping, that's fine. Just touch each other for fifteen minutes before you go to your side of the bed. By the way, those who engage in this activity also have healthier sex lives.
8.    Go above and beyond. Making a grand gesture every now and then is a wonderful way to show your love. Doing the extraordinary as a couple will help you create cherished memories.
9.    Doing something for your mate that he or she hates to do speaks volumes. We all have things in our lives that we dislike doing and when your partner gets the spider out of the bathtub or makes a midnight run so the kids can have milk in the morning, it really says ILY.
10. Being extra considerate on a daily basis works wonders. Saying "please" and "thank you," opening doors, helping your partner put on a coat, or putting a little love note in his or her pocket are a few of the little things that make a big difference.
Perhaps after showing (or being shown) your love in these ways, you will find it easier to speak the words. Just keep in mind that most of us want to hear them.

Mau Mau rebels win the right to sue Britain

Three elderly Kenyans were granted the right on friday to sue the British government for compensation over allegations of torture during the Mau Mau uprising that started 60 years ago.

The judgment at the High Court in London, described as "historic" by the Kenyans' lawyer, potentially opens the door to other claims of mistreatment by colonial officers across the British Empire stretching back decades.
The Foreign Office said it did not dispute that Kenya's colonial administration tortured the three Kenyans, all in their 70s and 80s, but added that it would still appeal against the ruling.
It claims that most of the potential witnesses to any court proceedings are dead, that too long has passed for a civil case to be brought, and that a fair trial would be impossible.
However Mr Justice McCombe, sitting in the High Court, said documentary evidence culled from imperial files was "voluminous".
"The governments and military commanders seem to have been meticulous record keepers," he said.

"I have reached the conclusion that a fair trial on this part of the case does remain possible and that the evidence on both sides remains significantly cogent for the Court to complete its task satisfactorily."
The three claimants, Paulo Muoka Nzili, 85, Wambuga Wa Nyingi, 84, and Jane Muthoni Mara, 73, allege that they suffered beatings, castration and sexual assault during their detention by British troops during the rebellion. The uprising, between 1952 and 1960, led to thousands of Kenyans being interned under suspicion of being members of the outlawed Mau Mau sect, which fought the colonial administration.
Mr Nzili, Mr Wa Nyingi and Mrs Mara all want an apology from the British government and compensation for injuries they suffered and lifelong complications that followed.
"I hope that this means that the British government will finally come here to give us something to support our families and to help us," Mr Wa Nyingi told The Daily Telegraph in Nairobi.
Dozens of elderly Kenyans gathered in the Nairobi offices of a human rights organisation's offices to hear the judgment, and ululated, clapped and danced when it was announced.
Gitu wa Kahengeri, the head of the Mau Mau Veterans' Association, said it was "disappointing" that the Foreign Office was to appeal.
"It seems that their strategy is to continue to fight this thing on legal technicalities until we die," he said.
Martyn Day, a lawyer for the three Kenyans, said the judgment was "historic" and would "reverberate around the world".

THE HIDEN STORY OF MAASAI

There are days I promise that I will bring you news which are related to many things of which other people understand it is very difficult, which is made by the Maasai community. Maasai society which I have the privilege of seeing and living at least in the short term is the Maasai community who are along the border region of Tanga district Kiteto or Manyara Region. In the Maasai community know I have been privileged to discover things of which is not very easy to know if you had the opportunity to have a close Maasai. And I know a lot of you'll know them today are going amazing and it's really amazing and maybe some you have never heard or experienced it.

. In those things which hiden and you can not easily know are as follows: -
 1.  is one among the tribes that are completely contrary to the community while at other Swahili people will kill for jealousy is quite different from the Maasai because the wife is able to go and seek her husband's second wife and three etc.. If required to do so and do not have much sexual jealousy that meet even the fighting action as it occurs in most societies of the world. I find a woman is his wife and they were very happy and I realized I was very surprised when I answered that this was a great wife and daughter I sought him marry my husband as a second wife to share in the work. Is she the sister of Swahili we can? Followers of example.

 2. If the big hedge Masai all unfortunately they died young will be even be a little old to less than ten years he delivered home as head of household, and it is accompanied by a be a wife first for head of household must have has a wife. this also I find it boy called Dainoni at the age of 12 years gets the calamity of his father forcing him to be the head of household, and there had to be given a wife who was 8 years old. Now get a 12 year old child anaoa another child of 8 years and the two begin life as wife and husband. Then when I asked how will things will do as usual? The answer was also amazing that the older morani as uncles etc are helping to make the issues that will have sex with the girl until the young man will be able to do it yourself.

3. This I want to ask yourself how you ever meet the Maasai mad? Or an albino? Or chronic disability? I have my answer is no, but this is why you can not meet this kind of people in Maasai? I wondered this question too that once the baby is born and discovered that he has a disability disability as large as the skin ie the albino child is killed immediately as they believe that it is a great misfortune to misfortune in the Maasai community. In this regard, if you met a Maasai same kind as he was born in the city or the hospital and is very unfortunate to find the mother of the Maasai gives birth hospital, so the problems of the tip as we've been used to seeing for many tribes to Maasai none at all and if the walls are not Maasai who grew up in the masai these days, though these practices have been flowing to the left, though very slow and cultures with some having as usual.

Many today are left with it then I will finish soon, I am sure you will agree that it is one among the Maasai tribes are amazing and enjoyable things other three meet next article and will come soon. stay still
