The magic of uShaka Marine World in south make world shine and wonderfully

At the end of Golden Mile in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal lies a world of sun, surf, entertainment and wild water rides. Spanning over 15 hectares of prime beachfront, uShaka Marine World is Africa's largest marine theme park and home to the fifth-largest aquarium in the world.
uShaka Marine World incorporates fresh and sea water, natural materials and the recreation of a 1920s shipwreck, all drawn together by indigenous African imagery, lush vegetation and maritime images of the Port of Durban.
And there's lots to do, from taking the wild water rides, visiting the huge aquarium, watching dolphin displays, sampling excellent cuisine at the restaurants, shopping in uShaka Village Walk retail village, fun-filled water slides in Wet 'n Wild - or simply a lazy day sunbathing on uShaka Beach.
uShaka Marine World was developed to create a world-class entertainment and tourism centre for Durban. It was initiated by the eThekwini Unicity Municipality as a major node of development in the city - one of South Africa's premier tourism destinations.
The shipwreck dominates the design, creating a major Durban landmark. The park makes wonderful use of open space and the interaction between land, sea and sky. It is laid out in an open plan, so visitors seldom lose sight of sea or sky and are always able to enjoy Durban's subtropical climate.
Snorkel lagoon - Float gently over the lagoon filled with a huge variety of marine life and maritime effects such as a 16th century ship's cannon before entering the bowels of a shipwrecked cargo vessel and facing up to the predators of the deep through glass so clear you'll imagine the nibbles on your toes long after leaving the water.

Offshore Rocky Reefs exhibit - In the Rocky Reef's tank you can dive with the rare and magnificent reef fish found off the KwaZulu-Natal coast.
Rocky touch pool - Touch a starfish, feel the skin of a sea cucumber and more with the help of a specially trained guide.
The Open Ocean - Gazing through an enormous eight-by-three-metre window, you'll feel you're actually underwater with the many fish associated with the open ocean such as tuna, pompano, dorado and rays.
Dangers of the Deep - Sharks, sea snakes, devil fire fish and stone fish occupy this area, where from the surface you may even be able to touch a shark as it swims past the balcony at feeding time.
Coral Gardens - Bright yellows and reds, oranges and blues ... the richest and most diverse ecosystems on earth have been recreated within Sea World.
The Deep Zone - This is a window into the lives of some of the weirdest and most spectacular animals inhabiting a world hundreds of metres below the surface of the ocean, often in total dark

Wet 'n Wild

This freshwater entertainment facility offers thrilling water rides, swimming pools and more. Rides include kamikaze speed slides, Stuka freefall slides, a five-lane racer, supertube open rides, children's rides, sunbathing areas on sand, grass or decking, and a 750-metre lazy river ride around the centre of uShaka Marine World, part of it flowing through the uShaka shipwreck.

Other rides include:
Mini super tube - Designed for kids up to six years old, but wide enough for mum or dad to share the twists and bends, the mini-super tube will help build confidence for the bigger, faster slides in the park.
Play area - The water cannons and water mushrooms will keep youngsters busy for hours.
Open-body ride - Sometimes referred to as the washing machine, this is a ride for all ages. The high water volume accelerates you through the bends at four to five metres per second, exiting into a safe pool at the bottom.
Tunnel ride - A rollercoaster enclosed ride, not for the claustrophobic, sending you speeding round curves at a gut-wrenching four metres per second - in the dark.

Retail and food and beverage outlets lie close to the main entrance to uShaka, encircling the southwest area of the park. From the mysteries of the ocean floor to the wonders above, you'll find many of the treasures you're looking for in over 11 250 square metres of retail speciality stores.

UNDERSTAND THE BALANCE OF NATURE LEAD YOUR LIFE...

The balance of nature refers to the theory that ecological systems are usually in a stable equilibrium (homeostasis), which is to say that a small change in some particular parameter (the size of a particular population, for example) will be corrected by some negative feedback that will bring the parameter back to its original "point of balance" with the rest of the system. It may apply where populations depend on each other, for example in predator/prey systems, or relationships between herbivores and their food source. It is also sometimes applied to the relationship between the Earth's ecosystem, the composition of the atmosphere, and the world's weather.
The Gaia hypothesis suggests that the Earth and its ecology may act as co-ordinated systems in order to maintain the balance of nature

History of the theory

The concept is very old; Herodotus described the relationship between predator and prey species, and commented on how they were in an essentially static balance, with predators never excessively consuming their prey populations. The "balance of nature" concept once ruled ecological research, as well as once governing the management of, natural resources. This led to a doctrine popular among some conservationists that nature was best left to its own devices, and that human intervention into it was by definition unacceptable

Counter-arguments

The concept has been criticised in recent times as being a pseudoscientific fallacy. It was first put into question when a substantial number of studies showed that predator/prey populations display a continuing state of disturbance and fluctuation rather than constancy and balance. It has been proposed by some scientists that ecological communities of plants and animals are inherently unstable, due to substantial idiosyncratic differences in behavior among communities and individuals in them. An aggressive, dominant wolf for example can greatly increase the chances of a pack in securing food, just as the death of a pack leader can lead to the pack's mass starvation.

SLEEPING DISORDER IS PROBLEM FACE MANY PEOPLE WITHOUT KNOWN WITH THEMSELVES

A sleep disorder (somnipathy) is a medical disorder of the sleep patterns of a person or animal. Some sleep disorders are serious enough to interfere with normal physical, mental and emotional functioning. A test commonly ordered for some sleep disorders is the polysomnography.
Disruptions in sleep can be caused by a variety of issues, from teeth grinding (bruxism) to night terrors. When a person suffers from difficulty in sleeping with no obvious cause, it is referred to as insomnia.[1] In addition, sleep disorders may also cause sufferers to sleep excessively, a condition known as hypersomnia. Management of sleep disturbances that are secondary to mental, medical, or substance abuse disorders should focus on the underlying conditions.

Common disorders

The most common sleep disorders include:

None of these general approaches is sufficient for all patients with sleep disorders. Rather, the choice of a specific treatment depends on the patient's diagnosis, medical and psychiatric history, and preferences, as well as the expertise of the treating clinician. Often, behavioral/psychotherapeutic and pharmacological approaches are not incompatible and can effectively be combined to maximize therapeutic benefits. Management of sleep disturbances that are secondary to mental, medical, or substance abuse disorders should focus on the underlying conditions.
Medications and somatic treatments may provide the most rapid symptomatic relief from some sleep disturbances. Some disorders, such as narcolepsy, are best treated pharmacologically. Others, such as chronic and primary insomnia, may be more amenable to behavioral interventions, with more durable results.
Chronic sleep disorders in childhood, which affect some 70% of children with developmental or psychological disorders, are under-reported and under-treated. Sleep-phase disruption is also common among adolescents, whose school schedules are often incompatible with their natural circadian rhythm. Effective treatment begins with careful diagnosis using sleep diaries and perhaps sleep studies. Modifications in sleep hygiene may resolve the problem, but medical treatment is often warranted.
Special equipment may be required for treatment of several disorders such as obstructive apnea, the circadian rhythm disorders and bruxism. In these cases, when severe, an acceptance of living with the disorder, however well managed, is often necessary.
Some sleep disorders have been found to compromise glucose metabolism.

Relationship Problems and How to Solve Them..

..
It's the rare couple that doesn't, sooner or later, run into a few bumps in the road. If you recognize ahead of time what those relationship problems can be, you'll have a much better chance of weathering the storm, experts say.
Ideally, a couple should discuss certain basic issues -- such as money, sex, and kids -- before they decide to start their life together. Of course, even when you do discuss these issues beforehand, marriage (or a long-term, live-in relationship) is nothing like you think it's going to be.
In spite of the fact that every marriage experiences relationship problems, couples who are successful have learned how to manage them and keep their love life going, says marriage and family therapist Mitch Temple, MS, author of The Marriage Turnaround. They gain success in marriage by hanging in there, tackling problems, and learning how to maneuver through the complex issues of everyday married life. Many do this by reading self-help books, attending seminars, browsing articles on the Web, going to counseling, observing other successful couples, or simply by trial and error.
Here are some common issues and ways to resolve them:

Relationship Problem: Communication

All relationship problems stem from poor communication skills, says Elaine Fantle Shimberg, author of Blending Families. "You can't communicate while you're checking your BlackBerry, watching TV, or flipping through the sports section," she says.
Problem-solving strategies:

  • Make time ... yes, an actual appointment with each other, Shimberg says. If you live together, put the cell phones on vibrate, put the kids to bed, and let the answering machine pick up your calls.
  • If you can't "communicate" without raising your voices, go to a public spot like the library, park, or restaurant, where you'd be embarrassed if anyone saw you screaming.
  • Set up some rules ... like not interrupting until the other is through, banning phrases such as "You always ..." or "You never ..."
  • Remember that a large part of communication is listening, so be sure your body language reflects that. That means, don't doodle, look at your watch, pick at your nails, etc. Nod so the other person knows you're getting the message and rephrase if necessary, such as, "What I hear you saying is that you feel as though you have more chores at home, even though we're both working." If you're right, the other can confirm, and if what the other person really meant was, hey, you're a slob and you create more work for me by having to pick up after you, perhaps they'll say so but in a nicer way..

    Relationship Problem: Sex

Even partners who love each other can be incompatible sexually. Compounding these problems, says Mary Jo Fay, is the fact that men and women alike are sorely lacking in sex education and sexual self-awareness. Yet, having sex is one of the last things we should be giving up, says Fay, who addresses the topic in her new book, Please Dear, Not Tonight. "Sex brings us closer together, releases hormones that help our bodies both physically and mentally, and keeps the chemistry of a healthy couple healthy," she says.....

    Relationship Problem: Money

Money problems can start even before the wedding vows are said, from the expenses of courtship to the high cost of weddings. The National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) recommends that couples who have money woes take a deep breath and have a serious conversation about finances.
Problem-solving strategies: The NFCC offers the following advice for having that much-needed financial conversation:
  • Be honest about your current financial situation. If things have gone south, continuing the same lifestyle that was possible before the loss of income is simply unrealistic.
  • Don't approach the subject in the heat of battle. Instead, set aside a time that is convenient and non-threatening for both parties.
  • Acknowledge that one partner may be a saver and one a spender, understanding that there are benefits to both, and agreeing to learn from each other's tendencies.
  • Don't hide income or debt. Bring financial documents, including a recent credit report, pay stubs, bank statements, insurance policies, debts, and investments to the table.
  • Don't blame.
  • Construct a joint budget that includes savings.
  • Decide which person will be responsible for paying the monthly bills.
  • Allow each person to have independence by setting aside money to be spent at his or her discretion.
  • Decide upon short-term and long-term goals. It's OK to have individual goals, but you should have family goals, too.
  • Talk about caring for your parents as they age, and how to appropriately plan for their financial needs, if necessary....talk and love if its possible and never let you love one go ever...steven m....am out

JE USAWA WA KIJINSIA NI HALALI HATA KAMA DINI HAZITAMKI SANA HILO/

ipo hatari ya wanaume kuwa chambo sasa be care men
by STEVEN..

ILA ZINGATIA HILI
unapokula tunda lolote, zingatia usafi.
